Calming Wind
Walking through the ever overwhelmed streets
Afar I sense a splendor of wind flapping it’s vast wings
A fur from it sparks on my face
I close my eyes and a tear drops, forming goosebumps on my outer layer
I smell an odour of soft rains swept through the bemire earth
The gentle wind whispers silent emotions of the beautiful people I see past
The love between an expecting mother and her unborn
Or the teenstar madly in love with life without the worry about Tomorrow
It’s maiden approach so liberating
Reassuring hope to someone who’s down-poured
Racing to win perfection
The birds in the open skies run wild in your motion
This chemistry with nature never felt down my core
That sharpened pencil sliding on a paper
Creating words that can not be expressed nor spoken
But felt by this little poet of the wind
Beautiful untouchable gale, I wish I could embrace you
You carry a huge load that only you can contain
The blown wishes sent from hemisphere to hemisphere
Your spleen is always astounding
A chill in my veins craves to swing in your wings.
