Notes About The Poem

Callithump Nk

 drip, drops, rain plops

no sundrops

creek rises

earth's prizes

cooler air

clouds in pairs

very chilled 

and unfulfilled  

jump in warm bed with love instead

day 'twill be watershed

to time we laid in bed

pain does drive us out

and we no longer jump

too old for callithump

do you remember when we did?

Our son seems to be better, and we are anticipating him being dismissed to a nursing home for rehab in at least a few days. We are awaiting the call that they are transporting him there, but probably not today maybe tomorrow. Sara

Our son is back in ICU. We were thinking that maybe in a few days he would be able to come here to stay in a nursing home to get PT and his intravenous antibiotics but a setback. He still has a catheter, and we don't know if the bladder is going to work yet but I am thinking it takes time. He made a few steps today and seemed to be happy about that. He says his feet are still not working like they should but that will take time. He has five more weeks of intravenous antibiotics to go. He had a MRSA abscess on his spinal cord or inside the shaft that surrounds it. Sara
