Calling Down Her Moon

You have a heart of stars And an aura like the moon That everyone can’t help but be hopelessly drawn to You can make people crazy Some even worship you But for me, I’m content with just being apart of that queue Of the many you touch throughout your orbit of the day Still, Sometimes I don’t want to say goodbye when you walk away But you go to be with her She’ll light you up with her ways She’s the only one that can do it Or at least so you claim But what happens when she goes and your face begins to wane I’ll see you through that phase Where she refuses to meet your gaze Nobody can put you to shame When they can’t see your face That’s when you come to seek comfort in my graze
