Why do you cry? Did you not know that the lion of Judah lives! Because he lives no darkness shall scare us anymore Every aurora brings with it hope. Can you not hear the jubilee of shepherds? The joyous madrigals they sing in unison with angels Come across the fields with me To join their happy throng. For indeed we have been given cause to laugh To rejoice and make merry! For this, His Son, is heaven’s divine lamb And brings with him salvation for all mankind!
