California Steaming

One look at a map ought to have shown
What politicians ought to have known
Yet not one would say
Its foolish to lay
Oil pipeline in an earthquake-prone zone!

Very cool Rico, and thanks for your comments from the world of men explaining why, when I was 18, they never spoke to me in bars and clubs. Now I know it was them, not me. Cheers!

When I lived in Pigalle, every night I would see men drool over the most beautiful prostitute in the bistro, but when it came time to spend their money, they invariably chose the least desirable because they were afraid of being rejected in public! Silly, when one considers the girls were all there to earn money to pay their bills, not find a soul mate! So it wasn't you!

Well said Rico… politicians are so ignorant they probably think the Saint Andres’ crack was made by nature for their oil pipes :0(

If you are old enough to recall Poseidon, Australians have "earned" considerable wealth just by gossipping . . . . . .

You're right, Rico...It's hard to understand with all the problems out California way why the oil companies and their political pals don't take the earthquake problem seriously. And they have closed their eyes to what happened in Oklahoma, the tremendous increase in tremors there, as well. 'Course, the answer is money and greed. But still, each of those execs and pols had a mother who cared for them, didn't they? I guess they're no better than the thugs who're shooting up Chicago now. ~ gw.

What is really disgusting is allowing THOUSANDS of forest acres to burn to the ground to accommodate mining interests. And Senator Romney complains Biden is "squandering" the opportunity to develop natural resources, "for the good of the nation"!

California politicians apparently do not believe in dock strikes, either! Aloha! Rico
