u smile
u wink
u laugh (pity)
sing, maybe
get the "gotta" done
baby steps
(babies can't walk)
still ...
place each foot
put IT on -
the mask
the act
la grande scène
you've perfected it
yeah ...
takes years
but u get it down
HAVE 2
cuz if they
knew what churned
within ...
or, even worse
what DIDN'T
they'd freaking bury
your sorry
aching
empty
ass ...
without 1.
consecrated.
tear.
