Butterfly Dreams
Beautiful being, she flutters by
in dreamy mists, on pastel wings.
At the sea below or mountain high
when I espy her, my heart sings.
A picture of summer's what she brings.
With a circular motion she comes near,
floating into trees and flowers.
Underneath that golden sphere
or flattening against light showers.
She'll sip nectar sweet for hours.
Oh,winged creature take me along
on your journey across this land
to fields so fresh and meadows strong.
Here riches grow and joys expand
as you alight my outstretched hand!
Kaliedoscope of nature's hues
presents her in a mystical light.
No stormcloud ever brings bad news
with such an everlasting sight-
a joyous picture , painted bright.
