Butterfly

Black butterfly why are you so blue
Understandingly because no one’s like you
Tears that trail from face to tail to wing
Teal dreams that lift you as you silver sing
Ebony eyes that keep looking uniquely up
Red from cries of unreturned flower love
Floating like a star in a solar ballet
Lifting up hearts who watch and pray
You will persevere finding love one day
