What a harmonious coming together of butterflies bugs and plants, a tranquil awesome observant poet are you, together with your golden nib, you weave a tapestry of Haiku's which blend into each other, intriguingly inspirational, and yet, individually each Haiku a gem. A MASTERPIECE! hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Hi Jennifer! Your lovely message brings me as much joy as watching our apple trees bloom! Thank you for that very special gift dear friend. This haiku was inspired by watching a lone honeybee go to every blossom on our Jonathan apple tree! The next day he was joined by the queen. What a wondrous sight of the miraculous!!! Hope you are having a lovely fall and that you had a joyful Easter. Sending you Easter season blessing of joy! Hugs

You are so right Suzette! With the apple blossoms come the aphids. But, with the aphids come the ladybugs! Nature's eternal dance of balance!!! A marvelous dance indeed and we are so blessed to stand and watch and marvel. Blessings to you as you celebrate autumn!!

Those stink bugs add a little bit of displeasure to the out of doors and if they come inside a lot of displeasure to the inside. Thanks for sharing these Haiku and for dropping by my page. This work reads like a good contender to me for the contest. Sara

Dear Sam.. An outstanding series of Haikus. I know they look easy to write and if you get the third one wrong, they doesn’t work.. Of course, with you , there’s no such problem. Many here do not understand the magic of the third line. All yours are a delicious treat! Thank you. Panagiota Panagiota

A beautiful rendition of Spring! The roly-poly bugs reminded me of when one son was very small he had something in his hand. I asked what it was. He said: my pet roly-poly bug. :)

Thank you so much Heidi. Was out in the yard spraying for codling moths, organic spray, and noticed one lone honeybee going from one apple blossom to the next. A bee on a mission. Today a queen bee joined him! His industriousness and attention to his job, for some reason, touched my heart and inspired this haiku chain. So glad you enjoyed it. Made me :). Blessings of spring to you!
