Butterflies

You smile at me and my heart melts, why am I so addicted to you? Standing there like a deer in the headlights, trying to pick up the pieces of me off the floor. Close my eyes and take a breath, swallowing back the tears burning behind my eyelids. O God, does he hear my heart pounding out of my chest, does he feel my body trembling beneath his? Looking into his eyes, such sweet kisses take my breath away. Falling faster and faster, sinking into your gentle caress. Only the butterflies keeping me afloat.

We are addicts of bliss. It is natures' device to get us to copulate and populate. You capture it well.
