Oh...Yes, Jan. I simply melt with I hear such words. Words of Affirmation is my love language. You're right....even when we know its an exaggeration...still, we need to feel good. Thanks for the visit, Hon! :)

Why someone to butter you up when there is the risk to lessen the already exquisite taste? Buttered or not you are as sweet and yummy!

I'm not fooled....saying I"m beautiful as some unimaginable thing....I have a mirror, you know. Still, it does make me smile and be happy through I know it is only flattery. I'm a silly girl. Oh dear...that intense? I was just playing on that saying.....Flattery will get you everywhere. I do love hearing good words. I do consider people's motives in saying them.......but it does make me feel good either way. Thanks for the visit.

Yes, Paul. Now you know my sunshiny side and my dark side. I have to live with it. I guess this was brought on by the fact that I got a new toaster! I've been asking for one for some time.. have NO idea how THAT turned into THIS, but....interesting, nonetheless. Students know how to butter you up, but you can usually see through that. One student said I always smell good...like flowers, but she gets hugs all the time s she misses having a mother figure, so I take that praise gladly. :) hugs
