But For Synonyms

For budding author, or storyteller,
a would be poet or bard.
To ideate, then put on paper,
for me is occasionally hard.
At this present time,
at Desktop Publisher I muse.
Probing my cerebrum,
for fruitful ideas to use.
I scratch my head and ponder,
I chew and meditate,
I contemplate and digest,
probing for reasons to celebrate.
I deliberate, then reflect,
and I mull but still can't see.
I speculate and study,
but rewarding thoughts aren't to be.
I imagine, and I consider,
then ruminate and weigh,
but alas I find no thoughts,
just synonyms today.
