Bursts of Joy
After the long road lined with attrition
I am finally in a better position
To dance lightly into the distance
Alive and euphoric
To a passage that is historic
For romanticizing mischievous play
Like a fugitive whose gone astray
Ribbons of your spellbound affection
Light my direction
Captor me now for I may be lured to flight
On an endless trip to delight
