Bumbershoot

I collapse when the weather is bright and sunny When I am needed, I am nowhere to be found, On a rainy day I am always pointing to the sky Without me someone’s going to get drowned. written October 6, 2021

When it rains, we complain. Sunny and bright, ahh we're alright. Cute, funny poem, made me smile :) I'm glad I came across it.

I hope we won't be drowned on the ground! This would be crazy all around!

Indeed. I ran across the word "Bumbershoot" and love it. Then when I found out what it meant, it leant itself to this little poem. Funny how certain words or sounds will trigger a verse.
