Brothers Love
The pain in your eyes we will no longer see
You’re with your master, no illness to flee
You are with your loved ones in the city of gold
Jesus’s outreached arms, a joy to behold
A young life cut short, life’s meaning was gone
The loneliness overwhelming, but you must carry on
The time has come to see him again
With a silenced heart you reached for his hand
Beautiful melodies, love all around
Soft voices of angels, how beautiful the sound
You’ll be missed so very much
Sons and Grandchildren no more to touch
We will carry on with you in our hearts
Until our day comes this earth to depart
In remembrance of my brother
