Broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
I’m a broken man
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Been broken again
Knocked to the ground
Oh I’ve been around
Hallelujah
Been battered and bruised
Lied to and misused
Hopelessly confused
Spoke to the Lord
Called out His Name
Though I don’t know how
To get past the shame
Broken and battered
Soulless and shattered
Filthy and splattered
A life all in tatters
Nothing that matters
My world a disaster
Just failing faster
Hallelujah
Won it to lose it
Loved and abused it
Took it for granted
I rhymed and I ranted
Then just refused it
Cursed those who reached out
Now I can’t breathe out
Only thing left… is doubt
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
I’m a broken man
Nothing more than a token man
Oh, I am chokin man
On my own pride
Been a hard ride
Been a long slide
With nowhere to turn
Time and money I’ve burned
Friendships and loves
Cast aside no regrets
I played the game
And I made my bets
Now broken and bruised
From all the abuse
No point, no purpose
No sense, no use
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Nothing to say
Don’t know how to pray
But I’m ready today
A broken man
Misspoken man
I’m a joke man
And lost
Oh but He found me
And He claimed me
Completely reframed me
My Lord He renamed me
My God, He loved me
Just how He found me
And now He unbound me
Hallelujah
Free from the past
Free at long last
Broken but Healed
Forgiven and sealed
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
