Bring You the Moon

Just ask and I'll bring you the moon I will pluck it for you from the sky It will bring gentle light to your room It will sing you its soft lullabye When the seas of your dreams seem too dark, just ask and I'll bring you the moon It will guide you as you disembark, light the path where your memories are strewn When a butterfly leaves her cocoon, she feels hope as her wings are unfurled Just ask and I'll bring you the moon, so you too, see the good in the world Later on, when I'm gone and you're grown, with a child of your own coming soon, you'll remember what you've always known - just ask and I'll bring you the moon
