Bring Peace As We Are Manned

We worry, we watch, we wonder
As hurricanes race with fury
What will the strong surge put under?

It wobbles, it turns, we worry…
We pray for people to survive
As hurricanes race with fury

We just want all to stay alive
We watch the size, the wind, the eye
We pray for people to survive

It gets closer in the dark sky
On a determined path for land
We watch the size, the wind, the eye

Empty beaches wait, blowing sand
People reaching, with helping hands
On a determined path for land

We pray because we understand
We worry, we watch, we wonder
Bring peace to all, as we are manned
What will the strong surge put under?
