Bring a New Fight
Bring a new fight,
Lucky and wanting,
Keep up with those Joneses,
And wheel the white flag.
The figures are you
waiting for the next day
Can you, will you?
Bring the New fight
With no money to buy
Or crack to sell?
Are you the strength
Or the killer
That can pay the ticket
Or fill the pint
With love or juicy resistance
Enough to beg a lover,
To lick a finger or glove?
Graceless and fickle,
Bring a new fight,
In the shadow,
Where it can't be figured,
Until you've undressed the best.
