Bright Teeth

bright teeth
smiling at me
and lighting up green eyes
in jack o’lantern candlelight.
the gummy insides of its pumpkin cheeks
along with its nutritious seeds scooped.
empty mindless shell speaks
with full moon eyes
bright teeth
