Brevity--Quick Changes
Brevity—Quick Changes
A brown-eyed girl named Sue;
Loved to wear dresses blue.
On the first day of school she saw a girl she knew
Who stated, “That dress color is not suited for you.”
Next morning she wore a dress of grey;
She could not wait to hear what others say.
A classmate shouted, “Red would look good on you. Grey is passé.”
Concerned about what next might be said,
She thought of her dress with bright cloth of red.
Still caught in a quandary,
She searched dirty laundry.
And found what she had,
Proudly she chose a favorite plaid.
