"I want to see thirst In the syllables, touch fire In the sound; feel through the dark. For the scream." ~ Pablo Neruda I taste the pulse of stars coursing through rhymes, stirring my moon-swept soul, as I ache for your soft blue sparks of poetry, breathless and lost in the musky heat of phrases etched beneath champagne skies, wrapped in threads of chiffon-laced heartbeats. And I think of you ~ the pearl warmth of dusk, for in your arms, I felt a wistful verse, glowing like fervent fireflies but if love could color the blush of secret sunsets, would you be the gold that binds me to Romeo’s silent sighs?
