Breathe

Frozen, anesthetized sedated and deadened
Cocoon of pain 
My energy drained

Whenever I see him I try to hide
That I know the pain he is feeling inside
I know what you did to him
I know what you said
The feelings in my heart have filled me with dread

I’m a woman of faith
How can I hate
A child of the light


     But 
      if
      I 
     saw 
     you 
   tonight
 

God heal my heart
Heal my child
Remove this torturous dart
And make his pain mild

I know that you will call me to forgive
I know that if I don’t this pain I’ll relive
But now Father just let me breathe

It is hard to feel that way but you are a chlid of Christ and I know you hate the action of the of person (so different than truly hating) and God knows your loving heart and will let you breathe again.
