Breakfast Thoughts

Would you like to have some coffee?
It's made out of the fresh beans of love,
And it's aroma is contagious as your breath,
Every sip sinks like the unsinkable Titanic.
But beware!
It might stain your unlovable pristine heart,
O sweetness, O goodness,
Don't drink coffee. 

Would you like to have some french toast?
It's crispy, crusty and mellow amidst 
Just like you, euphoric,
But O goodness, O heart,
It's melodramatic like me,
Don't eat french toast. 

Would you like to have some tea?
It's ravishing and romantic made of roses,
O honey, O lovie, Alas!
The effect might last,
Don't drink tea. 

Perhaps I should fuel my soul
With your sunshine soulful smile,
It's embroidered in my memory,
Mesmerized I am,
Smile! Smile! Smile!

I thought as I read that it isn’t just a morning offering it’s a lyrical dance between the sweet, the surreal, and the soul-deep. I found myself grinning, then pausing, then rereading aloud just to savor the melody of it all. There’s vulnerability tucked between the laughter, a tug of the heart inside each sip and bite.
