Break the Mirror
Having heard of them, and never having experienced them,
I cannot be objective about firsthand knowledge.
A number of people have encountered 'Near Death
Experiences'. I choose to never prevent them from
having their say, whether or not I believe them.
I will not protest what they attest to or confess.
Indeed, I believe that there is a continuity to
our existence after death. Nevertheless, when the
questions of Who, why, what, and how are raised,
a myriad of responses is provided, but there is
never 'A Final Answer' except in the realm of Faith.
I must say that I always admire the questions and the
'Line of primary inquiry' to which my response is:
By faith, I know who and whose I am.
By faith, I am made in the image of God.
By faith, I accept the Divine secrecy
whose unveiling is yet future.
By faith, I choose not to go the mystical route,
but rather wait for the God-Ordained Revelation in His Time.
By faith, I gladly accept the Biblical passage about secret things. *
By faith, for me and millions more, Biblical Truth is definitive
enough, notwithstanding the myriad of religious beliefs.
By faith, there is nothing to which we are bound or conditioned
that lies beyond Biblical Truth. Without regard to societal,
environmental, and religious impositions, by faith, I and millions more,
although imperfectly, have chosen to be citizens of God's kingdom,
being ruled by Jesus Christ both present and future. By faith,
presently, we see through a glass darkly; but later, face to face.**
