Bravo, and Encore

the violinist's orgiastic sweet spots
again, again, over and over and over...
   he wraps his magical bow
   around your yielding soul
   filling you with visions
   of uncharted forests, skies
   peace never felt before...
you find yourself silently
screaming for someone
to share this ecstasy with ~
   come join me
   let us fly
   to distant galaxies
   of melody's imagination

This is why Walt Disney insisted all the music in his cartoon movies sound like classical music. Gershon Wolf May 27, 2021 at 7:54 PM Hey, flying arpeggios are right up there with me too. Nothing like a virtuoso on the piano --- except one on the violin. (It's the 'Jew' in me, I guess. The violin IS the Jewish instrument, after all: Yehudi Menuin, Isaac Stern, Yitzchok Perlman, Pinchas Zuckerman, Jack Benny (ahem, lol), et al.) I myself was trained on the piano, pure classical.
