Brainstorming

(The modern way to take the credit for someone else’s ideas)

Innocent minds, virgin thoughts
all within a collective
breeding ground,
stage upon stage
the master’s philosophy to
be acted out. His! To
nurture, to alter, to steal,
personalities
to change, ideas to strive
for, directions to enforce.
This by the
new breed, created from
the production line of progression.
Those the arrogant ones,
reared in such cynical ways,
their curriculum brimming with
intellect, yet without
the power to reason.
Those blessed
with the forked tongue,
the worthless hand shake,
the insincere parody
that lingers within
the web of verbal trash.

Thought-provoking. How we rob big banks and MNCs, and even take the stapes from the office - with ENTITLEMENT. Your poem remins me that Dale Carnegie & positive thinking gurus, ended up with nervous breakdowns: taking from Jesus, just His ideas, but LITTLE POSITIVE LIVING. shalom, shalom & thans 4 reading even this comment. How total machiavellian, Harry. Love it. Your subtitle "The modern way to take the credit for someone else’s ideas"... priceless. I thoroughly enjoyed - brought me back to the good old days of being an enthusiastic and naive sucker.

Truths come out...unfortunately, this is what can happen but, you have brought it to light in a very well penned piece of work.

There can be some great ideas that come out but not always credit given to the one who thought of them in the first place:-) hugs Jan xx
