Brainstorm

A melancholy thought, travelling at the speed of light
 Moves through the universe of the mind
 Seeking to find answers 
 Dealing with matters of the heart

This storm of emotions, caused by heartache
 Seeks to escape from the mind
 Like an electron from an atom, 
 But then explodes into the deepest realms of the mind

 The thought, still moving through the storm
 Settles in the dimension of long term memory
 And there it lays dormant, beside
 The sphere of emotionally charged memories
