Bottomless Depth
After a much needed rainy night, the morning sun looked bright and new. My day was off to a great start, now off to work singing my favorite song. The work day went by fast, it seemed to be over before it started. At home a hot bath was waiting, hot water with lots of bubbles. The phone was ringing, as I was walking into my apartment. A cheerful hello I gave, only to get dead silence. Words came but not words I wanted to hear, your dad is in the hospital my dear. My heart sank deep, deep into the Bottomless Depth of my spirit. Learning he was dying was not what I wanted to hear, I am on my way~I am on my way.
