Born With a Caul

Born with a caul, she delighted the midwife.
She is special, encased in angel protection.
A mission to help humanity is upon her heart.
She is a baby! Some argued, not recognizing spirit work.

She will be a gifted soothsayer
Her magic will be pronounced and marvelous.
A medicine woman with a naturalness toward healing.
This came to pass as prophesized by the midwife.

How did you know? Many asked her.
She had no earthly explanation.
But her ethereal soul knew.
It was a knowing without knowing how she knew.

Sometimes we try to define things meant to be known only at a spiritual level. I liked the poem. Gave me thoughts to think about. Write On! my friend. Bill

I don't know what a "caul" is, but I'm supposing it signifies a special gift, eh?
