Dearest Valsa, you have so eloquently captured the mundane with your inspired pen. Even in brevity your poetry is beautiful, spilling beyond the confines of the monoku with expressive zest! Congratulations for your excellent win in Silent One's contest. Warmest wishes, sweet poetess and friend.. ~Susan

I find that boredom is often the doorway to creativity. I like the honest simplicity of this piece. Best of luck in the contest.

Be more creative in your mess...when I am bored with the kitchen I go to the cats' litter boxes. I hear you. Fortunately, the wife and I both would rather do art than clean. Occasional company forcing us to sanitize. A fun read.

Bored? by chores? lol. Well, 'A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down,' as Julie Andrews sang so well in 'Mary Poppins.' There's my two cents for the night. Sorry I've been away from your page for so long, Valsa. ~ Blessings, Gershon

This piece says it correctly. some of what I try to read bore me. But there are those that wake me up with curiosity and rhymes.

I find it quite uncomfortable to be on your feet for extended periods of time. However, Valsa, your words have unveiled a world of beauty that surpasses the mundane tasks you describe in your poetry.

I feel not only bored but in pain. It is actually very unpleasurable for me to stand up doing things for very long! My chores are really suffering now. Wish my hubbie would help out.

Ahh I like the compare and contrast of one of your previous poems of the carefree day where you felt the breeze and was a lady of leisure! Luckily these poems encapsulate just a moment and each part can build up a picture - so much beauty you have shared Valsa that I see beyond your chores and see the beauty you express throughout your poetry x

Awwn i hope you can soon get some break from all the chores and have just “ you” time, you are such a hard working talented soul that express so very well through words evn in just few syllables! You amaze me with how seamlessly your emotions flow. But aren’t we all living in the familiarity of all, sometimes it can get boring and tiring, but sometimes we get so used to the familiarity, that we dont know any other way. I felt you through this. Goodluck for the contest

Awwwn, we can get bored by the same scenes of life, over and over again, true, our human brains need some refreshment and reboot! Maybe the freshness of nature can instill a sense of uplifting vibe and rejuvenation.. That's definitely cathartic.. Well, you've so evocatively described your feeling in this one-liner, an excellent take for the contest, dear poetess! I always love reading your poems a lot. Best of luck to you :)
