Bonnie and Clyde

Bonnie and Clyde prowled the country in a V-8 Ford on a robbing and killing spree!

They met their doom on a rural road by cops concealed behind rock and tree!

Per Undertaker "Boots" Bailey, the bodies were shot so often by cops lying in wait,

That the embalming fluid kept leaking from the holes as he tried to stem the spate!

A sad legacy that left behind a string of bad karma and you capture this well in this poem Bob. Great to be reading your poems again. Mahalo

Enjoyed reading this creative write..It only took one bullet in the right place to do the job..That is what is called overkill but they did some ruthless things also..I am glad that I chose this one to read this eve..I have complete my work "Yellow Frill"..It lead me to its conclusion..Sara

While reading this, I could just picture Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway getting riveted in the ambush to the tune by Georgie Fame. Another great write, Bob.

Ha ha! Yep, another hilarious Clerihew! You sure do know how to write these 'Hews! I understand the story of Bonnie and Clyde, it's just unfortunate that they couldn't capture them instead of killing them! You've written a great story, one that I've enjoyed a lot tonight! Great Work!!
