Fragmented Verse
Invented by Ms. Constance La France, verse only, no rhyme. Left align 12 lines, broken down into 4 stanzas, including indentation on some lines. Indented lines are- line 3- 26 spaces/line 4- 28 spaces/lines 9 &10 -8 spaces/ 11&12- 26 spaces/28 spaces. Lines 9 and 10 - form a question. Syllables- 12/10/4/4 12/10/10/12 8/8 4/4

Time will eventually make my old bones ache and yet, it'll also teach my heart to sing. For I believe, I have a soul. Flesh and bone return to the dust from whence they came, and my soul shall return from whence it came. Life's not a dirge; it's more a Broadway song that invites us to find our voice and sing along. Aren't we spiritual beings, processing a physical world? We're eternal, not immortal.
