This is a fitting tribute to bluebells, Gordon. I've been in the English countryside many a time (especially in the Lake District) and those flowers never fail to catch the eye; somehow I always expect to hear them tinkle!! ~ Best regards // paul

Hi Gordon....My wife's mother came from Whitehaven. We used to go there quite often. When relatives dwindled my wife and I began staying in lodgings at Keswick, from where we could branch out on daily excursions. The Lakes are always a pleasure to visit. // paul

Thanks Paul, Glad you enjoyed my piece and so glad to meet a fellow lover of the lake district. We never got there last year because of covid and probably this year too, that being the first time we've not got there for a holiday in our nearly 31 years of marriage. Have a blessed weekend, Gordon
