I remember the ice storm His extension cord, my warmth I cried as fellow trees died FOREVER, His Liege As the whisper of the Wind I have spoke with HIM often Feeling his Sorrow and Pain A Heart, torn apart We have grown old Gracefully Now and then he speaks to be Says I’m a Beautiful Tree Sweet Words, Come to me Inspired by Russell Sivey for Sponsoring the Contest : " Trees Everywhere " Thank-YOU Russell Dedicated to a Laureate POET : "Russell Sivey"

I've read both 'Blue Spruce' poems ,very creative . Wishing you good luck in the contest . There is so much beauty in our trees. Love to just sit and look at them.Anne
