You had me at "feathered shades of sky"! They really are beautiful birds, and I'm glad to see you focused on that positive aspect of their presence. Blue jays and blue birds are quite different, even to hawks and eagles, but blue feathers reflecting the sun are always a pleasure to see! Aloha! Rico

The last bluebird I witnessed was in my daughter's back yard in Santa Rosa California. He called attention to himself by his loud calls. I was delighted. We don't have them here in Hawaii that I know of. They are gorgeous. A lovely haiku Michelle! xxoo
