BLUE

Blue was the color of my sky; Blue, like the smoke on mountains high. Blue was my ocean when weather was bright; Blue like the shade of the neon light. Blue was your glow like a fine Sapphire, like blue diamond tamed by fire. Blue was my face when our love did die; My blue heart was left asking why. Blue may still be my tomorrow until blue skies will tame my sorrow. List poetry contest 1st place
