We as humans always have to do our part to protect our environment. I personally devote 24 hours out of every month to just cleaning up trash. I do it when I'm on my morning walks I do it when I'm going out to a restaurant. Or when I'm just out with someone sharing special moments. In order to love life you have to love the place where life is! Thank you for being you Mo! Your friend A.S.

You write the uncomfortable truth, brave one. Even with all the laws against pollution, we remain River, Lakes, & Ocean's #1 Enemy!!

Excellent haiku Super Mo, we are indeed slowly choking the sea to death, I don’t know but it’s quite disturbing what we’ve become, more so through our intelligence and enormous machines, evolution is not designed to work this way, we’ve gone way past that now, cheers David

Thank you David, I agree with you. We know what we do and do it anyway. Too smart to function I always say ;), xomo

Great title—the oceans are the end point for so much of the pollution we produce on land, however far from the coasts we may be—there are those who do-- EXPO CHICAGO, NRDC’s Night Of Comedy, HEAL THE BAY. Excellent haikus!

Good one Maureen!!! Next time you see someone eating a tuna fish sandwich, that's not made of albacore; ask them how it feels to be eating something more intelligent than themselves ;). Hugs...

I feel like I’ve heard that terminology in my granddaughter’s musical “Mean Girls.” Humans indeed can mess with the sea… Good one!

I’ve heard it a few times, it’s quite accurate. Quite simply, we kill the oceans we kill ourselves. xomo
