This is not a limerick.  It was a newly created stlye that I can't remember the name. Sorry. Here's a quote for this poem:

Blizzard Is Coming

Blizzard is coming
Hailstorm is drumming
How we longed to be wetter.
We’ve been in a drought 
We prayed the calm out
Now comes turbulent weather.

Batten the hatches            
Prepare the caches               
White rage threatens our safety.
Will eating snow bursts
Appease our mad thirst?
Freezing adds to the crazy.

Seems really similar but I will have to look it up to remember how close it is to this form. Good job Robert Sidwell November 12, 2025 at 9:50 AM I initially had at the top that this was initially written for a contest of yours last November, which I didn’t enter if that helps. I wish I could remember the form.

When we pray for rain, we get drought or cloud burst. When we wait for snow, we get blizzards or hailstorms. Quite an interesting read, dear Robert.
