Blinded

I would carve words out of the sky And paint sentences on ocean waves But I doubt you would hear Somewhere my words would get lost in translation I would carry Atlas burden But you would believe it a myth A fallacious lie told only to comfort That one could love you so You’re stubborn to stay stuck in the mud I would give you a hand But you would drag me down And I’ve only just stood up Perhaps one day a love will find you Whose words you will not ignore But it shall not be mine today I only hope understanding comes soon
