Blind

It's a serious matter you know; so very serious indeed! You might think it all a fancy, though I know it as a need. To you, a kiss is nothing. To you, a touch is cold. To you, my life is worthless. But your heart, for me, is gold. So please be careful with it! Don't drag it all around. I don't want to find it injured, or buried 'neath the ground. When you decide my words are true, and come -at last- to me. Then I'll teach you a strange lesson, that's frightening to see. Freedom is a farse, my love, But in my arms you'll find, a prison can be paradise, when to your faults I'm blind. 23 July 2017
