Blessed are those who Hunger
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness
Day in day out
My dry mouth awaits
A drop of nourishment
An awakening of the soul
A satisfaction that fills
The emptiness of the stomach
And day in day out
I develop a truth deficiency
And there one night, I found a source of truth
And the nourishment flows
Vitamins into my body
And the blood never runs dry
And wonders never cease
And life, and truth, and righteousness
Corse through my veins
And love fills the pit in my stomach
Jesus sits where the emptiness used to be
I am whole, and free, and nourished
Day in day out
I come home
And am blanketed in love
I have found what I longed for
What I have sought and not labored for
