Like the idea of calling robots 'Robo-apians' - sounds like a cheesy sci-fi movie from the 70's!

A fun "political" poem, Mark. A message to the censor board.

No politics intended. I did intend the "fun" part though :) After reading Sandra's blog post and the various comments, I pictured robot bees busily going to every word in every poem, bleeping out prohibited words. Thus, bleeping busy bees :) My message to the censor board would be that I understand the challenge they face and I think they're doing a good job. I appreciate PoetrySoup's wanting to maintain a family-oriented site. No doubt to accomplish this they are using automated programs to censor words that are prohibited, since there are not enough live bodies to read every published poem. There are bound to be some exceptions. Thanks, Line, for putting up with my rambling :) ~Mark

I posted this poem over 6 hours ago and received some nice comments. However, when I logged back on the poem was missing along with the comments. This happened to 3 of my poems today. Happily, I had made a record of them and was able to resubmit. Sadly, the nice comments are lost.
