Bleeding Shadow
His shadow is wounded, bruised to the core,
Bleeding forever in shade,
Bleeding in black, wherever he walked,
Bleeding away with a fade,
From all of the ache, pain, anguish and hurt,
Torn by what it had found,
Watched by his mind every bit of the day,
That it did all over the ground,
You see, his mind slowly watched every small act,
Inflicted on this shadowy guy,
Every small cut to the flesh of his shade,
He watched with a critical eye,
Leading to this shadow now withered and broke,
Dissolving from everyone’s sight,
Till he disappears complete, nowhere to be seen,
In the fog and the dark of the night.
