This is really a deep, well-written senryu, Jan. The proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing. ~ Guess I ought to know in Chicago

we all have masks dear poet, the one we show strangers, the one we show friends, the one we show those we love, the one we hold for ourselves,

i, too, am a black sheep....seldom absent of emotion, often deprived of sleep....why should care be a journey too many find too steep....but as long as i have Breath, your friendship, i will surely keep....i do apologize for my absence, but so much loss hit me so fast that i just needed some time to just think and see if i could rekindle my inspirations....i hope you understand my dear friend....
