The Black Dog and Mary

Black Dog 2 Mary was a single Mom; Her stress was very great. Sometimes her kids ate crackers, And sometimes the rent was late. Black Dog! What’s your purpose? Why are you scratching round my door? Have you come to take our Mary? Come to settle up the score? Mary had a lover; They say his name was Lloyd. But her only real seducer, Was a round white opioid. Mary’s little children, Love to give their Momma hugs, But the only warmth and comfort; That she finds are in her drugs. Black dog quit your howling.. We don’t know what to do. To help our little Mary; She’s only twenty-two. Mary went to sleep one night. Alone upon her Bed. And in the morning's golden light. They found her cold and dead. Black dog, what ya doing? Are you only here to fight? Please let our sweet Mary; Have a little of peace tonight.
