Black Box

In a box, being fed what’s right, No reason why, no guiding light. You told me no but never said, The thoughts that lingered in your head. No consequence was ever shown, Just silent rules I should have known. Now hands untrained must break the mold, To find the truths I was not told. I teach myself what life demands, With trembling heart and empty hands. An adult now, I fight to live — To learn the tools you couldn’t give.
