Black and Beautiful
Black is my state of mind
So I thank you Lord for making me black
Even in this world who don't see me
The way that you see me
And they try so hard to hold me back
Lord I still thank you
I thank you for
My thick lips, broad nose, and kinky hair
I thank you for the swag that you have giving me
And how it shows in the clothes that I wear
I think it's kind of cool when the haters stop and stare
I thank you Lord for creating black woman
Mainly sister big bones
Who've made plus size so sexy
With her thick hips, brown eyes, and cheeks so high
The her smile will light up the sky
Thank you heavenly father
For allowing me to be labeled by some
but loved by many
Because we come in some many different shade
So I guess that make us good and plenty
Dear Lord from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you
For making me the way that I am
So Black, and Beautiful!
