Bites

I bit into the apple
it was sweet. Core
at my feet, the squirrel’s
treat. Bit into the breeze,
it tasted fresh, what I gave
back, the tree thought best.
And the preacher with
holy-water blessed – original
sin he said redressed. Love
took a bite of me...now I bleed
poetry.

Oh wow! This micro is so clever! The way you've crafted lil 'bites' in your poem! Incredibly beautiful and truly deep.. especially that ending, I have to say, it's beyond breathtaking and heart-stirring ~ sending you light and best wishes always.

This poem's 'bites' so much better than today's 'sound bytes' Joe. Excelsior, Gershon

Thank you, Gershon; just playing with words more or less. To some extent, we all feed off of one another.
