My now deceased father-in-law said long ago people talk about the past, years gone by like it was a good thing but I would not want to go back because of hard work we had to do. He did not know about the word nostalgia. However, there were a few things in the past that were nice but we can never go back and now with this virus I don't know if we will ever be able to be like it was before. Thanks for stopping by my work. I am honored by your comment. Sara

My first poem was a song dedicated to my dog when I was in grade 6. “I love my doggy, I love him true, I know if you could see him, you’d love him too.”

Our birthplace always calls us and reminds us and encourages and urges us to write about it - words can even form poetry whilst we sleep and gently bring back endearing memories. Exquisite Monoku. Congratulations on your win in this contest Harry. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Even in a dream, thoughts dance through the air. A Poem is Born. Words never sleep. This is so beautifully written and presented. :) Brandy
